Guaranteeing complete satisfaction is what the extended warranty protection program is all about. For the length of the contract, a consumer can protect himself against large, unexpected repair costs. Your extended warranty will pay for service and parts in the event of a mechanical breakdown of the warranted product for the purchased protection period.

The program is fully underwritten by an A rated insurance company. Thus, you can be rest assured that your investment is secure and that it will be fully covered in the future.

The coverage begins on the equipment start-up date and continues for the length of the contract. The Contractor agrees to charge the manufacture for labor and parts when ever they are covered under the manufacture's warranty. No claims will be paid within the first 90 days after receipt of the contract application.

The conditions covering this warranty are outlined below:

• The extended warranty contract can cover all residential and limited commercial applications and is for the original purchaser of the equipment. The contract may be transferred to subsequent owners if proper maintenance has been performed as defined by the original manufacturer allowing for normal reduction for operational wear. Transfer fees may apply.

• All units must be installed in accordance with local and national codes and shall not be field modified in any way that would violate the UL, ARL, or ARI listings. The manufacturer's beginning warranty date establishes all warranty dates.

• This contract does not cover truck charges, mileage within normal service area or overtime rates. The contract will cover mileage outside the normal service area of the service company; mileage will be paid a rate of $1.00 per mile up to 30 miles one way.

• This contract further does not cover incidental or consequential damages resulting from failure of a unit nor does it cover lightning damage or other acts of God, improper power or gas power or gas pressure, fire, gas furnace venting, condensate removal, floods, any corrosive atmospheric operation and any aesthetic paint and cabinet parts. Many of these items are normally covered by a Homeowner's Policy.

• Duct work, insulation, supporting pads, fuse protection and wiring outside the unit are not covered. All wiring, fuse protection and controls that were a part of the unit at the time it was manufactured are covered.

• The warranty covers single phase and three phase power sources and 120, 208 and 230 voltage applications, natural or L.P. gas.

• An extended warranty may be purchased within 2 years of the original start­up date of the equipment. The Contract became effective on the 91st day after the contract is registered at Etelcharge.

• One year renewable contracts may be sold on existing equipment up to ten years of age, as noted. The contract becomes effective on the 91st day after the contract is registered at Etelcharge. Additional yearly renewals on the same product will not require a grace period.

• Freight charges are covered on regular deliveries no air freight or over­night special delivery rates are covered for parts delivery.

• The old indoor coil is not covered when the outdoor section is replaced. Current higher efficiency outdoor sections require new high efficiency in­door coils to operate properly. New matching indoor coils will be covered with condenser replacement.
